Rebuilding an Edison Model C Reproducer

Working on the reproducer for my 1903 Edison Standard A. Who has tips on how to remove the mica diaphragm and how to re-wax the eyelet?

I need to clean the parts, remove rust on the spring ring, and replace the gaskets too, but all of that seems straightforward.

Thanks,
Mark

Update: the mica diaphragm just pops out if you pull the linkage. It’s pretty tough; I didn’t give it enough credit.
