Because Curt, not everyone knows everything already and some people may actually learn something.

Maybe, maybe not! I thought would be in any case be a brief source of infotainment.

Anyway, the videos of Techmoan are interesting and entertaining, and I'm glad our colleague posted this one here. I'm always glad to see Techmoan, especially if he's advertising the quality of one of our most applauded machines.. Thanks!

This video as well as
the other about cylinders have been already posted and commented before, however perhaps it was worth to highlight them also in the US section of the board, as many people may not know about him.
In my opinion, whichever the subject, his clips are always worth watching as they are very well made and also amusing, with a nice sense of humour. The commitment with which he learns and then disseminates the matter that he intends to cover is very remarkable, far above today's standards, and these clips about gramos/phonos are no exception. Should anyone who knows nothing about mechano-acoustic sound reproduction ask me how to learn about the subject, I would definitely point him/her towards Techmoan's clips as an excellent starting point.

Personally I feel Techmoans videos are very good for people that know little or nothing about our hobby. He actually helped me get into the hobby.
