Box of shattered cylinders.

Hello!

Unfortunately I have a box of shattered cylinders. They are primarily 3 minute black wax. Might be a couple of brown wax.
Is there any purpose they might serve or do they just need to go out with the trash.

I'd hate to throw them out if anyone could use them.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave- Thanks for posting here to see if your broken cylinders are useful in any way. Pictures may help-- If you have boxes for them, then there is some value/usefulness for those. You mentioned "3 minute" cylinders-- A true three-minute record was 6" long. Most standard length cylinders were either 2 or 4 minute.
Anyway- a quick picture or two would allow folks to see if there is anything salvageable in your box.
Thanks for reaching out.

Hi Brad

First let me say I know better than my reference to the cylinders being "3 minutes" lack of proofreading on my part. sorry :)
They are of course 2 minute.

I'll try and attach a few pictures.
The ones on bags contain all the pieces but I don't hold out any hope of resurrection.

Thanks for the reply,
Dave

If you have any that are split, equally in two, there might be a way to put them together. Any ones in more pieces are unfortunately beyond repair... The pieces are of no practical use.

Thanks Curt!
I was hoping they might be of some practical use to someone before I toss them.
This was the result of terrible packing, not many survived.

Thanks again,
Dave
