I know that it seems to say 'Garrard Super Motor' but I am no expert so I can't be sure.
Anyway, if it is a 'Garrard Super Motor' and you live near the seller then this could be quite a bargain.

An excellent quality Columbia graphophone, that is definitely well worth saving, unlike so many of the tatty portables that turn up frequently. I hope someone doesn't rip the motor out and dump the rest!

If it is a Columbia, and I see no Columbia transfer on it, have the tonearm and soundbox been replaced?

I do still like it but I think you're right; it's not actually a Columbia. Looking at the soundbox and the adjustable louvred grille made me think it must be a Columbia as it is more typical of their patented design. As far as I know not many other makers used the same approach so this makes it slightly more interesting.
