Has anyone seen or used one of these? I got it from Charley Hummel years ago. It is a needle chuck extension with a cylindrical weight attached to the side. Supposedly it changes needle tone from "loud" to "soft" by rotating the weight...

I have a couple of these. They don't work very well. Made in Buffalo, NY. No relation. Paul Baker
