Great Photo of Edison Department

I came across this on eBay today and found it really interesting. At the bottom it says "Edison Department Marietta Phonograph Co.". What does the "Edison Department" refer to? There are Edison phonographs scattered throughout the shop among other makes so the Edison Department is confusing me. Has anyone heard of the Marietta Phonograph Co.?
Regardless, I think it's a great photo and has a lot to look at, including the Victor in the Douglas cabinet.

PS. I love the way the Columbia machines are displayed. With 150 pounds or so of phonographs hanging over head you would think a thicker board would be used considering the one pictured is bowing quite a bit.
