Hello all. I've recently acquired this vv 4-3 that I am attempting to restore. I pulled the motor apart and cleaned the 100 year old grease out. Repacked the mainspring and got the motor running smooth as glass. I noticed this hole to the left of the turntable. It had a person appropriate bolt in the hole. But was not holding anything to it. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what this might be for? Am I missing more parts? Thank you again for all your help.
Shawn

Shawn:
That hole is for a knob to lift the motorboard when taking it up to lubricate the motor.
It's similar if not identical to the front cabinet knobs. Finding an original one shouldn't be difficult, and there are new replacement "lift knobs" featured on Ebay.
