Victrola the Fourteenth

I just got VV-XIV #248717 for $100 and it’s turning out to be a project. Spring 1 is broken and the rest were pretty much glued in place. (Didn’t have to worry about whether I was removing them still wound up!)
Given that one spring is broken and one bent at the pear-shaped hole, do I need to replace one, two, or all four?
Thanks all!
Mark

In my opinion- if you want it right and trouble- free, replacing all 4 is the only correct answer. Replace the governor springs while you are at it.

Seconding the George recommendation for new springs. I have an XIV with the older three-spring motor, and when I first did it I put one old recycled spring in to replace one that was cracked. When I opened it for new grease eight years later it had cracked the other spring. Fresh mainsprings on all three barrels and it works pretty well! Much smoother winding and unwinding.
