Just got this in a batch of free records. It’s 78 rpm and very thin, flimsy, warped vinyl (maybe). The “A” side has a men’s group (like the Golden Gate Quartet) singing “Sun Don’t Set In The Morning” and the “B” is harder to decipher but the refrain is “you better prepare for judgement day”.

Has stamped matrix numbers 726B / 727B.

I’m not sure where to start looking, though it’s not on Discogs.

This is a best guess. It is very likely a private pressing acetate, most likely commissioned by a church. There used to be numerous small companies that provided that service.

It looks like an acetate that came into contact with water. I once warped one by washing it, as I would a typical shellac disc. But, I had pretty good success in flattening it by applying heat with my wife's hair dryer.

Before heating it, have a stack of twenty or so 78s handy so that you can rest on top of it immediately. It will more likely keep flat with pressure as it's cooling. You may have to do this twice.
