Columbia Graphophone model AT
With Bettini attachment.
Information please.
I have had this machine for many years but noticed that it’s seems to be slightly different than others I have seen on the forum with a plain case and early reproducer carriage. It looks like it still has the end of a hearing tube still on the carriage.
What year would this machine be.
Is this Bettini attachment correct for this machine?
Thank you
Tony

Your machine is among the first of the AT Graphophones; sharing the cabinet and nickeled brass carriage of the earlier Type A. This dates from mid-1898.

As for the Bettini Attachment, these were offered for various models of Graphophones. The best way to determine if it's right for that AT is to mount it and see where the stylus hangs.

Strange that it is in a Washington case with a seemingly incorrect lid. Those lids I have seen were usually more flat topped. Nice Bettini reproducer?
