Need help finding replacement gear

Good Evening all,
I’m looking for a gear for the following motor, it is for a Mellow tone phonograph. There are no markings on this motor. Can anyone tell who made this motor? I need the small gear on the shaft that is driven by the spring. See pictures. I’d like just the small gear but will take whole shaft with the large gear . The small gear is held in place with a thin flat key. See pictures
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Dan

Here’s a better picture of small gear. Has anyone ever had these type gears fabricated?

Chances are I can make this gear for you, but your pictures are so out of focus I can't be sure. It appears that the mating gear, (the one on the spring barrel), is not in great shape either. Looks as if the teeth are worn short by running against the worn out small gear. Wondering if a new small gear will work with that spring barrel gear.

I see the small gear has 12 teeth. Can you tell me what the outside diameter is?

Jerry the motor would run for bit but when it hit certain teeth the spring would jump / unload each time . At first I thought the spring was slipping but then I saw the gear. Hope you can help.

Dan,

The original small gear was brass. The remnants of it are what remains on the shaft. Someone very crudely made the small gear you now have. Unfortunately, the small gear has pretty much ruined the spring barrel gear. Compare how its teeth look in relation to the teeth on the larger gear, (the one with the 5 holes in it). You'll see that the gear teeth on the barrel gear have been worn away by grinding against the crude 12 tooth gear.

I can make a new small gear and mount it correctly on the shaft. I can also make a new spring barrel gear. It may take some time as the summer months are busy for me. If you're interested, please send me a PM or email. (I'll be out of town the rest of this week so it may be next week before I can respond.)
