Round head? Flat head? Oval head?

"Machine screws" are not dimensioned #7 x ¾". Do you mean wood screw?

I don't know the precise length. I just know that it needs I be at least ¾" from the top of the screw to the other end.

As I mentioned earlier, "machine screws" and wood screws are two different things. You gave the specs. for a wood screw.
