thats cool! does the very thin recording horn change some of the sound?

I also was surprised to see the recording horn used is so narrow.
Perhaps that helps with filtering out piano overtones that might result in extraneous sound. ??? By the way, great performance, Albert!

great question. that horn is made per the edison patent on recording horns. material, length, cone angle and construction. I have recorded with many horns. This sounds cleaner. you can get more volume with a larger opening at the cost of reflections with a wider angle, or just a really long horn. its made of paper.
