I am offering this Edison Home Model B. It has the original finish and decal on the cabinet. The bedplate has been re-striped and looks great. It has been cleaned and adjusted a plays good. It has a C reproducer and original 14 inch Black and Brass horn. The horn could stand to be rolled and polished by John Duffy, but is original as it sits. I will leave that decision to the new owner and their taste. Take a look at the photos and let me know if you have any questions. Shipping at actual cost. Free delivery to Stanton’s August auction available. Asking $450.

The Home model Bs are the best all around--and convert easiest to the 2/4 minute gearing. Wish I had known that before spending so much time on the model As and model Ds. I now own three Bs, onto which I successfully installed (or reinstalled) the 2/4 minute gearing.

A few days ago I left my next-to-last model A (one I had rebuilt from parts) on the covered porch of a Chicago metro antique phono shop. I'm keeping only one model A, a nice 1903 one I bought from Doug Oldham. One of that model is enough.

I hope your model B finds a new home--a home where people actually enjoy playing cylinders.

I’m curious: what/where is the Chicago-area shop?
