Like most fables, Edison Blue Amberol 3157 - The Story of Chicken little teaches several morals, which are still applicable today!
Enjoy this fun cylinder!

Thanks Darold!!
This series of videos doesn't appear to be as popular as others I've produced, but these Edison Children cylinders are really pretty amazing and fun!

In addition to the very clean record, that is the smoothest running Gem I've ever heard! No wow, flutter, wobble, nothing -- just very smooth reproduction.

Certainly.. I believed it was recorded by line, but it's the actual GEM playing perfectly! It's astonishing!

So,
Full disclosure here.
I record every cylinder in my movies using an electronic pickup (the ACT system) on an Edison Fireside. I calibrate the Fireside to 160 RPM every few recordings. So if you think a cylinder is playing fast, or slow, thats on Edison, not me! For certain videos, I'll record the sound of the machine and add it as a seperate track to the video. For example, all of my Coin-op videos have seperate tracks for the cylinder song, cylinder static, and machine motor and mechanism noises.
Some of my very complex videos have up to 6 seperate audio, and 10 seperate video tracks going at the same time. Thats the fun and challenge of making these videos, to combine different elements into a single, harmonius and credible result.
Keep watching!!!
