Hi All,

I have an early Victrola VTLA with filigree from 1907 (Serial No. in the 4200’s). Can anyone tell me the correct length of the crank for this model?

I do not have the exact dimension but I have the comparison to a L door XVI as shown in the image. The VTLA crank is the shorter one. The serrations on the cutting board are ½”.

The difference is due to the cabinet width being increased post VTLA.

Your XVI uses “winding key” part number 1059HGP (GP = gold plated), the dimensions are here. Center to center dimensions would be typical on an engineering drawing but this is not clear. Maybe John D. can measure his to inform us.
