There will be no threads in the holes. The pins are just a tight fit and are driven in with a small hammer.
Some people have also used escutcheon pins.
Since you posted a picture of the nameplate and stated that you need two screws to hold it in, I thought the "screws" you were wanting to replace were the ones that hold the nametag on. Okay then, never mind the drive screw suggestion.
