I picked up this Brunswick the other day. It looks rough but plays both styles of records very well. I don't know what model it is though as it's missing the builders plate. I think it's a 200 going off pics I've found online. What say the experts?

I don’t know what model it is, but it will actually play three formats of records — lateral with a steel/banboo/ivory/tungsten needle, Pathé vertical with a shank-mounted ball sapphire stylus, and Edison vertical with a shank-mounted conical diamond stylus.

But it has a single Ultona reproducer which theoretically is not suited for playing Edison DDs; later Brunswick developed the double head Ultona which has one side entirely devoted to play the Edison Dds.

You may want to look on line for R. J. Wakeman's book about Brunswick Phonographs. The Antique Phonograph Society may be of help too.

It does play Edison DD's. Very well too. Sounds almost as good as my C250
