This is a cast iron upper works for a Columbia AT. It is complete with decent stripping and decals. The carriage is not frozen and moves freely.

Thanks Bill - - I don't need it, but was wondering why the gear teeth didn't seem to mesh in this image:

The image showing the magnet makes the gears look okay. Must have been an illusion!

It is only that in the last photo, the small gear is in a more advanced position or plane than the big one. That makes the illusion that the teeth don't match. It's only perspective.

This would be the perfect example to make a pattern and replica trunnions, since they are no longer made.

$175 is a cheap way to start a small specialty business...
