are there any blue amberols with no existing copies?

this is definitely more prevelant with brown wax and other early cylinders, but are there any BAs with no existing copies?
just wondering.

Impossible to say. Who knows what may be out there as yet undiscovered?

There are titles that were assigned numbers, but were not issued.
In the very late 5700 series, most titles were pressed in quantities of 100 or less, with some as low as 25. I tried to do a survey of these a while back but got almost no responses. Through tracking auctions and personal experience, I can account for at least one copy of most of these very late cylinders, but there are at least 2 or 3 that I've never seen n person, nor found sales records for.

This discussion made me think of a story I once heard/read about. In the cobwebs of my memory I remember many years ago hearing or reading about an abandoned, decaying building in NJ that was discovered to have tons of unsold BAs in it. A collector discovered it because some street urchins were using some of the BAs kinda like footballs, kicking them around in the street. The collector got the kids to point out the building to him. He rented a truck and (probably technically trespassing) loaded up all the BAs he could. The boxes were decaying but the BAs themselves were reportedly in very good condition. Does this story ring any bells with anyone? If so, can anyone add a more detailed conclusion to the story? Thanks.

I think I read something like that. Not to sure when though.
