The price on this machine just dropped from $300 CDN to free.
Not claiming any expertise here, but I
guess that this is a later Canadian model. The later models had the offset, rather than centred, motor and platter, yes?
There are no pictures with the doors open.

I would love this machine to work on, but the timing here is entirely wrong. I have no space for it at present, and I have no way of getting its bulk to my house.

Yes it’s too much for my space as well unfortunately. Plus, I am not skilled at repairs.
Living downtown in a high rise, with my 1930 Knabe grand piano, Victor IV on a music cabinet, 7-foot credenza to display my sound system, plus my large 1964 Bozak 302A Urban loudspeakers, plus seating etc, pretty much fill out my living room nicely enough without overcrowding!
Oh well!

It does look like it was stripped of its original finish. The Victrola decal is missing from the lid.
At one time I had two of these! An early two door and one four door similar to the one in the ad. What was I thinking!
There was a time when the Japanese collectors were snatching these up at the old Union shows. Then you had to pay at least $1000 and up for nice one. There would be rows of these waiting for pickup towards the end of the show.
The last one I saw for sale locally was at the Elkhorn Flea Market in Wisconsin. I believe the asking price was around $300?
Take it from me, their not really fun to move
But for someone wanting the Victrola flagship model, this would be a good entry into the hobby.
