I am fully aware that this is NOT the complete score, only part 1 of Rhapsody in Blue on Decca Personalty Series. I was only able to score this one disc.

Thanks for the upload! I have the Victor Scroll version of RIB, but it is so badly worn as to practically not be playable.
I have been searching for Victor 55225, on the blue label from 1924, but so far no luck.

Is this a US or overseas pressing? I don't think I've ever seen Gershwin or Whiteman on US Decca. Can you please post a picture of the label?

If memory serves, Whiteman re- recorded the Rhapsody in Blue, Second Rhapsody, Concerto in F, An American in Paris, and possibly other Gershwin pieces Whiteman premiered after Gershwin's death in 1938-9 on Decca, where Whiteman moved after leaving Victor in early 1937.

I just discovered that I have a version of this by Adrian Schubert on red Domino. It's quite good! Interesting that neither the catalogue or matrix numbers appear in Rust. June 1927 release according to Discogs.

drawing from the discographies compiled by Steven C Barr, Steve Abrams, Tyrone Settlemier and many other sources, has this info on that record cited,
Domino 0181 SCHUBERT'S SOCIETY ORCHESTRA - RHAPSODY IN BLUE parts 1 and 2, matrix 7185 and 7186-1, also published as Regal 8307, March 1927
DAHR has included 864 Plaza matrices, and doesn't have 7185/6, but has this slightly earlier one, which well could have been recorded at the same session: NY RECORDING LABORATORIES, March 9th, 1927: https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/ ... an_lullaby

Interesting. My copy is matrices 7185-1 and 7186-4. I was hoping to find it in Rust to get some idea of personnel, but no dice there.
