AI created member? I've been suspecting the same from others within the last new members waves... Really detectable by the silliness of their speech when writing and slight details. But let us be aware... AI will be getting less and less noticeable as it learns how to cheat others...

As a general rule, I ask a potential buyer or seller to call me. I don't like making transactions without speaking with the other party. A lot of insight may be gained that way.

You learn so much on The Forum. I lucked out when I listed a wanted post for Little Tots albums was answered for all three I wanted ----when it seems to good to be true IT IS. Lucky for me I would not pay electronically, only by money-order and sent one, I guess the thought of cashing it was a bit of a risk and never cashed, It took $15 dollars to get the initial cost returned, but it was returned----better to loose only 15 and not 70. I would of not known it was a scammer except for a Forum member who alerted me to the deception. So many GOOD people on the forum covering all the help to make it great.

Wrote me as well. I was looking for an album for 7 inch discs. When I asked for a photo of the album he just sent me a photo of a stack of old 45s but no album, total scam.

Same here, he messaged me about a crank for the "United" motor in my Northome machine. I didn't reply because it read like either an exercise in search-engine optimization or A.I.

Still no crank either.
