Lastly, I just didn't want you to miss out on these 4 highly desirable RCA-Victor Electrolas available at Stanton's Fall Phonograph Auction this November 21st. As having been a Victor Talking Machine Company purist, I found these 4 as being the only RCA-Victor machines acceptable of joining my collection membership when trying to limit the size my collection had been.

Remember, if you can't be there in person, you can bid online at liveauctioneers.com and Stantons can ship the bigger machines to you these days. All these machines come with their own carts with 4" swivel wheels, if you want them. It certainly can make for an easy pick up process and moving them around the house. Good luck...

Hi Wayne,

Does the RE-156 have a back for it. There is no back photo and in the photographs with the front open you see through to the wall.

Thanks!

Carlton

Carlton,

You are right, the RE-156 does not, the description is in error and it should indicate that it doesn’t. All the machines that state “complete” have their back-panels. The only machines of my 24 in this auction that don’t have their back-panels are the RE-156, VV8-9, RAE-79, and the VE10-69 cabinet. I will confirm this and the descriptions tomorrow and will inform Stanton’s to make the correction. I’ll also post links to more pictures for each of these machines. Thanks for your question.

You can’t tell from just the 3 photos on LiveAuctioneers.com but the RE-156 does have the phono compartment front pull down door, it’s just flipped up.

My first posting on this topic included links to LiveAuctioneers.com that showed just 3 photos per phonograph to be auctioned at Stanton's upcoming Phonograph Auction. So you have the opportunity to see more photos for each of the phonographs, I have provided the following links. In the cases where there is no link, I have attached the photos below.
