Gramophone & Typewriter Monarch a.k.a. "Baby Monarch" so strictly speaking it is a real rarity in the U.S. I doubt anyone would rush to this even if you took a nought off the price and halved what's left. Most American collectors prefer Victor badged machines and the same would be true in the UK. A rare Victor machine here gets passed over for the same reason.

Most American collectors don't get much chnace to buy HMV machines. I would LOVE to find some examples. I find the HMV cabinet designs to be very attractive. I've been fortunate to find an example of the "Baby Monarch", shown here, an HMV Monarch Senior, and an HMV "Cockleshell" model.

If its in Turkey as opposed to being a turkey it is very cheap. Original gramophones are Hen's Teeth rare over there! Crapophones are plentiful there, even more than in the UK, China and India combined, I'd think.
