I generally look at it every day. That's how I found my Credenza! Plus, I bought it right out of the house where it had been since purchased new in 1925. A good many interesting phonos pop up from time to time. For me, they are generally in the Bay Area, i.e., San Francisco and environs.

I've seen phonograph guys bidding >$1000 for this same model machine in worse condition at auction. Awww...the mystic of having to have it all, at any cost, and having an audience witness you do it.
