This NOS repeater with box and instructions was acquired decades ago with many dealer stock 1920's 78's. It has never been on any phonograph so it is waiting to go on yours. Nickle plating is as it left the factory over 100 years ago. Original box is wrinkled and worn in places yet totally presentable. Original instruction sheet included. Spindle bearing rotates freely. $225.00.

Is the spindle pot metal or brass?

Spindle appears to be pot metal that is in good shape and rotates freely.

Also upon reading the Directions For Attaching and Using the Repeat O Graph they call to 'Then fasten the half moon foot with the thumb tacks enclosed'. The thumb tacks whereabouts are unknown and are not included in this sale. If anyone has photos of original fasteners please post pics.

If I may add, don't let the pot metal component scare you away from this. Mine has the pot metal piece too, and it's in perfect condition, and it works perfectly. Dreaded pot metal is not a death sentence, as long as it hasn't degraded. They are a really neat item. Whoever buys this will probably enjoy it! **End of unsolicited testimonial**

Does it change the needle for you as well?

Seems like an interesting contraption, I just can't imagine a record I'd want to listen to over, and over again... scratch that, I CAN think of a record I'd want to listen to over and over again but the trouble is those needles. Time to stock up on some Tungstone or Recoton needles!
