He would be 90. Wow. I remember when he died at only 42 years old. Makes me feel old...

It's funny - I too remember when he died, and where we were and what we were doing when the news came over the radio. I was never a fan, but I'd been collecting and studying long enough to respect the impact he had on the industry. It was a mild shock to learn that The King was no more.

I read that Ed Sullivan refused to show Elvis from the waist down because it was too suggestive,just from the waist up.edisonplayer.

I fondly remember being a young, 12 year old girl in 1957, dancing to his rock hits. My mother thought i had gone crazy.
