I ran across this advertisement in the November 11, 1905 issue of Collier's magazine and it occurred to me I've never see one. I'm curious. Has anyone here ever ran across one of these?

Yes, I have a couple and I've seen several others. They don't turn up very often, but evidently someone was buying them 120 years ago! There's one shown on page 77 of Antique Phonograph Gadgets, Gizmos, and Gimmicks.

Thanks for the heads up Mark. I would never had guessed it would be a Mobley design. I have a copy of "Discovering" George. I suppose it's probably time to pick up a copy of "Gadgets".
