Here is a rare piece of Canadiana that I would like to see go to a good home where someone has the skills to care for and nurture it.
A 1928 McLagan/Maroni collaboration on an electric radio/phonograph credenza model, cabinet by McLagan, electronics Marconi.
It has an asking price of $200 CDN.

Looks very nice, but I am wondering if it used to have an acoustic reproducer like an orthophonic reproducer.

The cabinet was made by McLagan, one of Canada's foremost "off-brand" talking machine manufacturers. It may be something adapted from another credenza model--don't know. But I think the machine here is original.
At any rate, it does have a Canadian Marconi badge attached to it.
