Victor III Electro

Something different -- an early 'electro' printing block measuring 1.5" x 1.75" with a line drawing of a Victor III. Edison offered dealers free electros to use for advertising, with the only stipulation being that the dealer supply a clipping to prove he actually used it as intended. I can only assume that Victor did the same, and that this was meant to accompany a type-set newspaper ad for a local dealer.

Very nice, Rene! I'd suggest that that beautiful electro depicts a Victor II (the humpback model) rather than a III.

Ahh yes, due to it having feet.
Good eye.

Thanks for the correction, George. I noted the columns but not the feet!
