Type N Graphophone For Sale - $1600. This Graphophone will need a little restoration. It is missing a belt and four rubber bumpers. The reproducer is an original gutta percha. the nickel plated sleeve on the reproducer is loose. The nickel plating on the mandrel is missing a large section about 2x1.5 inches. The motor runs fine and has a good leather gear. The case and hardware could use some cleaning. The original crank is with the machine.

Do I see that the winding gear is missing a tooth/teeth?

You are correct I did not notice that a tooth was missing on the winding rear. I winds ok but that may be a problem if wound up tight.

My friend Arthur Pare had a Graphophone N which had ear tubes and a case of brown cylinders. Some of the records had the Washington DC designation on the Columbias. He bought it in 1956 at an antique store for $3. edisonplayer.
