Europe would have played a significant part in the development of American Jazz in the 1920's has he not been murdered by a resentful band member in 1919.

He had just completed a series of excellent recordings of some early jazz for Pathé before his untimely death. This is one of my favorites with Noble Sissle vocal.

Who made the arrangements, is it known? Was the same Jim woo arranged the music to be played?

I have a couple of the Victors by his Society Orchestra and one of the Pathé by the Hellfighter's Band.edisonplayer.
