Does anyone recognize this logo ( what's left of it) cabinet looks like early victor. Thanks in advance

Yes it’s the Gramophone Company Ltd in Britain. Hence the similarity to Victor. It’s the Royal Warrant decal that was only used around 1909. It has the Royal Warrant, By Appointment, on the left and the dog and Gramophone on the right. The company had dropped the word ‘Typewriter’ from the name at this time.

That looks like the "Canadian" Victor D just auctioned by Donley. If so, I agree it's not a Canadian D, but almost certainly a British Gramophone Company Senior Monarch from around 1909. I have an all brass horn from an earlier G&T Senior Monarch on my early Victor D. I switch it with a spearpoint horn as the mood takes and I can't decide which I like best. I love the case on the Senior Monarch and I think the double cut motor in the later Senior Monarchs is the best of both worlds - early style look and a more robust later motor.
