Victor Orthophonic Wall Box

These two wall boxes have been in the collection a long while and over the years I have managed to find two variants. These were made by the Werner Company in Easton PA and were intended to allow the Victor 10-50 and other models to be coin operated after adding additional internal hardware. The boxes are identical, the only difference being the markings on the door. The one on the right may be later because it claims six nickels can be inserted whereas the other says five. The patent number on the door will lead you to the description and wiring diagram.

Has anyone encountered any other variants of these wall boxes?

Mark

I have seen metal ones for orchestrions/nickelodeons.
