HMV Model 2 governor problem.

A collector friend is restoring a horn Model 2 of the WW1 period, when from about 1916 they were fitted with a double spring worm drive motor and an Exhibition Junior soundbox.
He suspects that the governor is not the original, as the weights hit the motor when running. He has tried various different springs and weights with no improvement.
Can anyone with this HMV motor please post pictures of the governor so that he can see what it should look like.
Better still, has anyone got either a complete working motor of this model or a scrap motor with a good governor which they might be prepared to sell?

The brass friction plate and collar are from a later Victor/HMV. The way they cause the governor springs to arch up is what's causing the problem. The weights are also wrong, but with the proper end pieces, the weights may still be okay.

This is what the governor should look like...
