Folks,
Its a little over a week away to the phonograph show in Chicago. Contact me at [email protected].
The two newly Vulcan made cylinders have been very popular, so much so that I only haveOne (1) Zero (0) of the Washington Post Marches left, and Five (5) Four (4)Three (3) Two(2) of the Bettini left. (I had five more of the Bettinis made than the Washington Post March as they are such an extraordinary cylinder. Truly amazing clarity fidelity and content.)
And as I said before, when they're gone, they're gone.
SOLD OUT!!! 1892 United States Marine Band (led by Sousa) - Washington Post March. The amazing and long intro announces this cylinder for the Columbia Phonograph Company of Washington D.C. This was made in resin in a channel rim brown wax format. It is a wonderful clear, super early, acoustic, live, recording. You can even hear the Trombone flub once!
Sept 1899 US Bettini recording done by M. Pardis (Clarinetist) - Concertina - Piano and Clarinet. US Bettini recordings are impossible to find. Here is a super loud, clear, and really wonderful one. This was made in resin, in a plain brown wax format. It is announced by Bettini in French (they weren't ever announced as a Bettini). Truly amazing clarity fidelity and content. This is a must have!!
