The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Past several days it's taking at least 2 minutes to log in to the Forum here. I have 2 relatively new and fast laptops, an iPhone and an iPad and all respond very S--L--O--W--L--Y here on the Forum. All other sites are lightning quick. Just curious if anyone else is finding the response VERY slow at times for the Forum.

I have similar experience, it takes a long time to access posts. Maybe it is related to the server that hosts the forum.

Yes, almost unusable at times. I also have to log back in every time, even if I've clicked the remember me box,

Took forever the other day and timed out with the 404 error _ or something like that.
There were around 440 users on line at the time.

Running out of bandwidth and too many tracking cookies enabled ????

Yes, slow for hours, can't call up page, "Is it Down?" ( https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ ) says it's down, etc...

Same here on all counts. I open other windows while waiting for this to load.

Yeah sometimes it times out when I try to change my profile picture or post/access a thread.

Me too, not just now, but remember to have experienced difficulties these past days. I thought it was my internet provider, but I see now that it was the TMF site.
EDIT
Now again very slow!

Frequent error pages (something about not supporting a secure connection) preventing me from visiting the site.
I just give up and try again later, but even then it can be frustratingly slow.
