Picked up a late model VV-XIV

Moving on to the next project. This cabinet is in great shape with only a small chip near the motor board.
The key escutcheon was missing so I harvested it from my empty L-door cabinet. Missing needle cup and
motor board lift knob replaced with parts on hand. Felt looks good so I will leave that alone.
The 4 spring motor is in great shape, just needs re-greasing.

Wow, that is stunning! I can't believe what great shape the cabinet is in, the figuring is just beautiful. Congrats!

Thanks Gary! It appears to have been refinished or buffed perhaps at some point due to the lighter than
usual color. The tradeoff though is an "alligatoring" free cabinet with outstanding grain patterns.
I did not have to clean the cabinet, only a light application of Howard's RAF with a soft rag.
