Because of the large German-American population in St. Louis, MO, there were a lot of German records sold here. I have them as early as 1912 on Victor, Victor Orthophonic, Columbia, Columbia VivaTonal, and more. One of them is a comedy record that is just a guy speaking. I don't speak German and don't really enjoy them. None of them are classical music either. They're traditional German songs, waltzes, polkas.
