Hello Everybody,

Can anyone share a picture of what a stylus needs to look like on the Model C reproducer?
Looking specifically for a sapphire stylus, what I have is on the attached picture, is it correct, or it all worn out?
Purchased a Cylinder Phonograph, was hoping to get playing 2-3 cylinders that I have :)

Thank you,
Aram

The stylus on your Reproducer looks good from the image you provided.

Thank you, George.
If I need to clean that stylus, what would you recommend using for the cleaning solution?
And one more question, if you don't mind: what online store can you recommend for parts for this reproducer? I think I need to replace the washers to make it air-tight.

Thanks again,
Aram.

The stylus appears to be plenty clean enough in the area where it contacts the cylinder record groove.

I agree with Jerry in that the stylus looks reasonably clean. When cleaning styli, I use alcohol on a Q-tip.

If you're going to rebuild the Reproducer (which should be done if it has not already been), you can order gaskets from:

Be sure you have jeweler's screwdrivers with good blades. Good luck!
