FOR SALE: HMV/Columbia/Decca and other portables

Please contact me with any questions or for further details.
Below are photos of the machines, including various examples of coloured cased "Deluxe" variants of HMV, Columbia and the other usual suspects, 37 in total alongside some spare motors, turntables and winding handles.
There are too many to list specific details and I have also listed these for a friend who is not a gramophone expert but who would like to sell this collection ASAP and ideally as a job lot! Due to geographic location unfortunately I cannot just "pop round" to inspect a particular machine either.
However, I have viewed these machines just under 12 months ago and can say that they are about as good as they can ever be cosmetically and functionally. That does not mean they are pristine as many show marks, scratches, small dents and tiny repairs commensurate with age and use. However they have all been restored to make them as good as possible so there is little left to do. In other words, where metal fittings were rust spotted, they have been re-plated. Where rexine had lifted, it has been re-glued etc. All have had motors stripped and regreased and soundboxes tweaked/ rebuilt aa necessary to play as well as possible.
