Does anyone have the little sleeve that goes over the end of the potmetal? Asking for an old customer of mine
Thanks,
David

David,
The only thing that appears to be missing in your photos is the screw that retains the reproducer elbow in the tone arm. That screw would thread into the elbow and fit within the slot in the tone arm, allowing the reproducer to pivot only 90 dgrees.

I totally dropped the ball on this and still need to find this part. For the life of me I can't remember what "ring" goes inside the reproducer..... But i'll ask again anyways. It seems he lost a little ring that went INSIDE the reproducer where it attaches to the tonearm.
Does anyone have or know what the little ring looks like that the screw threads into for this World Phonograph? He says that the screw doesn't thread into this hole and that the ring he is missing is what the screw went into. If we can't find a part, I will just 3D print something to fix the issue.
Cheers,
David

David,
I'm willing to bet that the hole in the reproducer elbow was at one time, threaded, but is now stripped. An internal ring most likely was a fix. The ring would have a threaded hole to make it a sort of nut. Making a brass ring, (apparently with a flat side), epoxied in place, with a threaded hole, is most likely what's needed.

Yeah I figured this would end up being the solution. I can't remember any phonograph I've worked on having some secondary inner ring.
I will see what I can make at the shop.
Cheers .

Well, again, I think it's a fix and not the original scheme.
