Cool record stand that fits the small vic E perfectly

A buddy of mine told me I should show this little stand i picked up. The inside has horizontal storage for 10 inch records, felt lined horizontal wood supports for records. The top is the perfect size for a vic E or I have a small vic 1 that fits ( same size as an E). The proportion to the machine makes it look like a larger victor and not the tiny E.The really cool part is the hand written paper inside the door. It has the placement / title of records that were once there. I do not show much, but we thought that this was interesting enough.
Thanks for looking.

Nice Spencerian calligraphy! (It looks almost 17th century, instead of early 20th...)

That thing is so cool!
The trick to getting photo thumbnails to appear right side up is to download them to your computer and then change
them ever so slightly and then re-save them on your computer. Not sure why you have to go through all that but it's the
way. So I just ever so slightly cropped each one and re-uploaded them. Here's the result!

Gorgeous, such noble proportions!
I love the writing. If it were mine, I'd possibly be tempted to try to find examples of the same records that were originally in it.
I'm intrigued to read, 4th line down, 'Clarinet Squak' and 'What This' - is it possible there was a record entitled Clarinet Squeak?

There WAS actually a “Clarinet Squawk” recorded by the Louisiana Five! It’s a neat recording, IMO. The flip side was “What’s This” by the Jazzamarimba Orchestra. It’s an Edison Diamond Disc 50609.

What are you leaning towards, factory or homemade?

Good question, one i do not have an answer for. If it's homemade it is done very well. The wood work does not point to homemade. But who knows.
