For sale is a Victrola XVI in an uncommon finish, gunmetal oak. Machine runs well and has a rebuilt Exhibition reproducer with new gaskets, diaphragm, and rear isolator from Bill Mayer. Turntable felt has been replaced due to the original deteriorating. The original casters have been removed to allow the machine to sit level on a hardwood floor but they are still present. Does not come with original albums, but the albums I have stored inside will come with the machine along with the records in them. Most of the records are acoustically recorded discs appropriate for this machine. Not interested in selling the records separately, they come with the machine. A shipping slip for a VV-XVI in weathered oak is included, although the slip does not match the serial # of this machine. Key and blank record index are included. If the buyer wants new steel needles I can throw those in as well at no extra cost.
Cannot deliver/ship!! Pickup in Philadelphia only!

Same,
This doesn't help your sale and I realize that. But, that is a nice example of a machine that I would buy immediately if I had the room and ability to get it to my house. Beautiful relatively complete example. Good Luck with the SALE!

It's interesting Victor suggests in that supplement to use the batwings as area to pen in catalog identifiers. Never seen that.

Wow. I've seen records where that's been done, but never knew it was promoted by Victor to do so.
