Hello!
I have a nice screw-in brass horn which I thought would fit a Columbia machine. Turns out the thread end is larger. Any guesses what this might fit?
A European machine perhaps? Thanks!

Canadian collector, Bruce Ward, who has been unable to sign on to the TMF for some time, sent me a text asking me to pass on his belief that your horn could very well be for one of the unusual Hawthorne & Sheble Star disc machines. I think he's correct, and generous, to give the effort to get his opinion posted here.

I concur that the thread looks like that of a Star machine.

Thanks, Jerry, for passing along this information, and please thank Bruce Ward for his input!
I hope he's able to sign on soon and join the conversations.
Does anyone have a Hawthorne and Sheble Star machine from which we could confirm Bruce's information?
Thanks to all for your help.
Bob

Bob,
Jerry has (or at least he did) a Star machine he can use to confirm the horn's origin!
Best,
George
