I picked up a Garford Baby. The tube that goes from the tonearm to the horn is loose. How is it supposed to be attached? I see a crimp of some sort at the bottom nothing else. Thanks!

Well, you're not making it easy. You have 1 picture of your part, taken at some odd angle that doesn't let us know what that part even does. Your second picture is apparently not of your machine. Maybe we can help you figure it out, but I'm fairly sure there are no "Garford Baby Experts" here that can picture your situation without some further information from you. How about a picture of your machine, showing the area where that part is attached, but is now missing?

Is this the part that you are referring to...?
If so, you are unlikely to find a replacement if it is not complete and I hope you have the original tonearm and reproducer. Since it is part of the cabinet, you may have to get creative to attach it if it isn't complete. I have the same machine, but would need to locate it. Most of the removable parts are press fitted with slots/tabs.

Thanks for your help! I ended up putting a small sheet metal screw to hold the bottom of the tonearm in place. It works great now.

Glad that worked - nice machine... The tall Baby machines aren't easy to find and loose parts are impossible...
