Can anyone suggest a value for a Columbia BF in average condition, not mint, not falling apart, but used well. Are there any problems with this kind of machine, like th AT's with the pot metal? I have one being offered to me but don't know the value at all. No horn, lid included, case is fine.

Some of the BFs used a pot metal carriage. It's best to test the machine before you buy it. If it slides easy, then buy it. If not, then pass on it. They average about $300 -500. Really nice ones go for more.
