Union Scouts?

Hey, just and idea

for those of us not fortunate enough to get to Union. Would anyone consider being a scout for us "stuck at homers"? As an example, I am searching for an original owners manual and documents for a Victor IV, Victor V, and Victor VI. If anyone see's them at Union is there anyway to let me know to arrange for a "buy for me" sort of deal? A lot to ask of what amounts to strangers......but I'd say we all have some connection through this hobby that could be worth some good will and trust? Anything like this done before? Am I crazy for asking?
At home......Jeff

I think it's a great idea, Jeff. I am still up in the air on whether or not I will make the trip on Saturday. I will now Friday afternoon for sure. If I do go, I will send you a PM with my info Friday so we can discuss exactly what you are looking for. I would be happy to look for things for people.
Good suggestion!

This is a good idea. I am in the western part of the U.S. and hope to go to the CAPS show in August. I will post my short "wish list" in the Yankee Trader section soon.

Thanks for the replies. I've done this before in the Classic Car hobby going to Hershey and walking the hundreds and hundreds of acres of used car parts. Many times people can't get to these once a year events and the dealers don't all use ebay, etc. So often taking a list with some phone numbers can make someone very happy. I am a believer in paying it forward and how one good turn gets at least another in return in life.
