I’ve owned these records for 30+ years and vowed never to sell or trade them. I’m gradually scaling down my record collection so here they are.
I’ve tried multiple edits of the pictures to correct the sideways orientation and nothing worked so please click on each to correct the orientation.
All are in excellent condition. All are single sided. All were recorded on August 5, 1908.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Taft attended Yale University and became a lawyer and judge while still in his 20’s. Theodore Roosevelt appointed Taft to Secretary of War in 1904 and later picked him as his successor as President.
By all accounts, Taft was a kind, warm hearted and gentle person who, sadly, lacked somewhat in decision-making due in large part to his reputation for fairness and politeness to all.
There is only one detraction to any of these records and that is a very tight hairline that has been repaired to the Rights and Progress Of The Negro record. This record is also excellent and plays great with an expected very light click. All of the rest are excellent
Each record is $95 each (except Rights And Progress Of The Negro which is $75) with shipping included. If you want all of them I will make you a good deal on the group.
Send me a PM or email message with interest. PayPal friends or Venmo is fine. Packed securely, shipped promptly, tracking number sent.
Thanks,
Doug
